Welcome!
What to expect when you visit Charity Baptist Church
We realize that visiting a church for the first time can be a challenging experience, and we want to put you at ease! Your first visit to Charity Baptist Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. You will experience inspiring music, helpful preaching and teaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcomed and "at home." Here are a few answers to some questions you may have and what you might expect during your first visit:

Our church is located at 201 S Rochester. The parking lot in front of the church is reserved for visitors and handicapped guests. As you approach the entrance of our church, one of our greeters will direct you to the right classes and auditorium. They can also answer any questions you may have.
Sunday School classes for all ages meet at 10 am. These classes are a small group setting where you are invited to meet others in your life-stage and hear a Bible lesson applicable to you. Most adults attend the Sunday morning worship service where they hear a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Steve Hett. Kids who are sixth grade and under attend Jr. Church where they hear a Bible message on their age level. Our morning worship service is about one hour in length. During the Sunday evening service at 6:00pm, Pastor preaches a message on our yearly theme. This year our theme is "He shall direct thy paths." On Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm we have our Prayer Meeting and Bible Study for all ages. The best way to get to know the people of Charity Baptist Church is to attend one of our classes or services.

Questions you may have:
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Charity Baptist Church for our members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional "Sunday attire." We promote the idea that church is where we meet and worship the Lord, so our focus is on the heart, not on what you wear.
Am I expected to participate in the offering?
No. We don't invite you to Charity Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find a family of friends, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
