The Lord directed Stephen Hett to become the founder of Charity Baptist Church in November 2015. Steve and Pam are thankful to serve the Lord with their daughter and son-in-law, Brianna and Seth Lusk.

   Stephen and his wife, Pamela, met at Arkansas Tech University in 1984, and were married in August of 1986.

They have six children and six grandchildren, and have been happily married for 35 years. They enjoy helping others grow in grace, spending time together and with family, and getting to know their community.

   After receiving Christ as his Savior, Steve attended Midwestern Baptist College where he received his degree in Pastoral Theology.

   Steve is an energetic preacher who never meets a stranger.  He has a desire to reach his community with the Gospel and disciple believers with God's Word.
