Baptism is symbolic of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection! Baptism is your public identification with Christ. When you are baptized, you are telling the world that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life. No matter what your age or background,  

baptism is a natural and important step in your journey as a Christ-follower. If you follow Christ and you’ve not experienced baptism, it is your NEXT STEP!

 Out of obedience to Jesus, we require that those desiring church membership experience baptism by immersion. We believe baptism by immersion most accurately conveys Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection. Therefore, immersion is our only practice.

 

 

THERE ARE TWO GREAT REASONS TO BE BAPTIZED!

 

1. TO FOLLOW JESUS’ EXAMPLE.

“And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.” (Mark 1:9)

 

2. BECAUSE JESUS COMMANDS IT.

Jesus said, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

 

We rejoice in your decision to follow Christ in Baptism! Your next step is to meet with our Pastor prior to baptism. This is so the Pastor can further explain the importance and need of baptism and answer any other questions.
